Hello my name is Eric Strang. I'm English/Scottish/German/Greek as far as I know.I work as an engineer tech at a medical device company here in wonderful Santa Rosa. I've lived here most of my life and have attended the SRJC on and off since 1993. I plan on graduating with my A.S. in Natural Sciences next year. I really enjoy attending the J.C., and will probably come back for classes even after I've graduated. The atmosphere, physically and spiritually is wonderful. My family and I often take walks around the campus on the weekends.
I enjoy traveling, and have been to a few countries in Europe and Southeast Asia. I paint with acrylics and play guitar and bass guitar when I'm not maintaing "normal" household duties. I look forward to getting thoroughly schooled in English as well as my other class, Pols1, this semester.
Thanks!
EStrang
Hi Eric,
ReplyDeleteWelcome to our class! I agree with you; SRJC's campus is beautiful. It was one of the first things I fell in love with about Santa Rosa when I first moved here. I don't get to take walks on the campus as much as I would like, though. Looking forward to working with you!
Take care,
Lauren
Hi Eric,
ReplyDeleteI agree that SRJC is wonderful; I especially love their online classes because like you I am working and have my family to take care of so online classes are perfect for families.
Gradulation also for planning to come to school again. I did the same and in general I love to go to school and learn new things every day.
Good luck
Hey Eric,
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing that you have been attending SRJC since 1993. I don’t think that I could do it for that long even if it was on and off. It's great that you have traveled to all of those places, I’m sure it was an amazing experience.
Best of luck,
Sabrina
Hello Eric!
ReplyDeleteThere can't be that many with your name living in the same area around the same age right? I believe I went to high school with you...Montgomery in fact. I'm that girl that had a quirky name too: Diane Speck. I no longer use my former step-dad's name and went back to my birth name. Hope life has been treating you good! From reading your blog it sounds like you're doing well.
Good luck with your classes.
~Diane
